Clones

IMPORTANT!

This is a special type of team game. Teams are not based on players wearing red, blue or yellow packs. Instead, players form "groups". The number of players in a group is determined by the "Players in Group" parameter (see below). Groups can consist of two, three, four or five players. After the game has been started, each group must band together and go through a "Cloning Station" (Recharge Bay). As each of the players in a group passes through the Cloning Station, they will become "joined" as clones.

Objective

Description

Tension between the separate coalitions had always existed. Uncertainty grew as rumours surfaced that some coalitions were training small groups of battle clones. It appeared as though a struggle for power was about to begin. Conflict seemed inevitable. Each coalition created and deployed their own group of battle clones. Soon, the clash commenced. Due to the small size of a group of battle clones, they are swift and efficient. However, if one battle clone is tagged, ALL battle clones from the group are also tagged. This fact alone may bring an early end to the conflict. However, for now, the battle still continues. Group against group, coalition against coalition. Which one will eventually emerge victorious? Clones is a game in which small groups compete against other small groups in a clever game of tactics and skill. In this game, when one of the players in a group is tagged, the tagged player is deactivated and EVERY OTHER PLAYER IN THE GROUP is also instantly deactivated at exactly the same time. The group with the highest point score at the conclusion of the game is declared the winner.

Parameters

  • The game is a special team game played with a standard phasor.
  • This is a special type of team game. Teams are not based on players wearing red, blue or yellow packs. Instead, players form "groups". The number of players in a group is determined by the "Players in Group" parameter (see right). Groups can consist of two, three, four or five players. After the game has been started, each group must band together and go through a "Cloning Station" (Recharge Bay). As each of the players in a group passes through the Cloning Station, they will become "joined" as clones.
  • When a player is tagged, they are deactivated for the length of time set in the "Player Deactivate Time" parameter (see right). This is usually 10 seconds.
  • When a player in a group is tagged, the tagged player is deactivated and EVERY OTHER PLAYER IN THE GROUP is also instantly deactivated at exactly the same time.
Player Deactivate Time:   Length of time (in seconds) that a player's pack remains deactivated after it has been tagged. After the deactivation time has elapsed, the player's pack will reactivate and begin operating again. (The default is 10 seconds.)

Players In Group:   Clones is a special type of team game. Teams are not based on players wearing red, blue or yellow packs. Instead, players form "groups". Groups are effectively mini-teams. This parameter sets the number of players each group will have. Each group MUST have this number of players. Groups can consist of two, three, four or five players.
